When it came to planning how to decorate my son’s nursery, I found a lot of inspiration in woodland and cabin themed nurseries! The room we chose in our home was entirely wood paneled, so it only made sense.
I’ve always been drawn particularly to bears. Bears are such a cute decor option for nurseries because they look so cuddly and cozy.
Plus, it’s fun to riff off of the mama bear trope and refer to my little one as my baby bear. So bear bedroom decor became the obvious choice!
These were my favorite bear bedroom decor options, and I can’t wait to start incorporating these into my son’s nursery.
Onto the bear bedroom decor ideas:

2. Bear Throw Pillows

Throw pillows are a popular design choice for a reason. They’re easy to move and switch out at a moment’s notice, but pack a big punch when it comes to how a room looks!
Also, they come in so many different shapes and styles that you truly will be able to find something you love.
I adore these simple bear silhouette pillows because they will remain timeless as your little one grows.
3. Bear Bedroom Decor Wallpaper

For a more labor intensive, but STUNNING bear bedroom decor option, you can consider adding wallpaper to your rustic nursery!
This blue woodland themed wallpaper would be beautiful for a baby boy’s room.
The nice thing about incorporating wallpaper as a design element, is you don’t have to do much else in the room. The theme is LITERALLY plastered all over the walls!
4. Bear Headboard

If your child is no longer a crib dweller, consider utilizing their headboard space to incorporate the bear theme.
Try adding a back light behind the headboard to bring emphasis to the focal point of the room!
There are so many different bear themed headboards out there, but this black bear silhouette board is my favorite.
5. Bear Mobile

Mobiles are the cutest and most classic of the go to nursery decorations. When I think of a nursery, the first thing that comes to mind is a mobile.
Have your little one dreaming of woodlands and forests with this bear mobile.
I always love putting a lot of design effort into the sleeping space of the room because it is always what draws the eye first!
6. Teddy Bears!
This may seem like a no brainer, but it has become one of the cutest parts of my son’s nursery: teddy bears!
Stuffed bears are usually incredibly cheap at thrift stores and you can get them in all kinds of shapes and sizes.
Layering stuffed bears on the bed, in reading corners, and in play areas will add so much personality and texture to your rustic woodland nursery.
7. Bear Bedroom Decor Wall Art

Simple wall art is often an overlooked design element for a nursery, or at least it was for me.
Wall art is probably the easiest form of bear bedroom decor to find, though! You can find all kinds of designs all over Etsy and Amazon for printables!
Get creative with the frames for extra design points! I love raw edge wood frames for the rustic touch they add.
8. Bear Figurines

Figurines are my favorite kind of decor for nurseries. I don’t always feel like figurines are easy to use in other rooms of the house, but they are always adorable in a nursery setting.
When it comes to bear figurines, there are SO many options! Bears are a very common design for wood carving pieces so you can find them anywhere.
Check Facebook marketplace for great bear decor! This may depend on where you live, but here in South Dakota, I found so many affordable options on marketplace.
9. Bear Lamp
HOW CUTE. I absolutely love lamps (don’t even think about making an Anchorman joke) because I will always prioritize warm lighting to cold overhead lighting.
Adding warm toned lamps to a space will instantly make it cozier, and the nursery should be the coziest room in the house!
Whether you can find a great bear figurine base like the one above, or even some kind of bear themed lamp shade, you’ll love how cozy it makes you feel during baby’s bed time.
10. Bear Head for Wall
This geometric bear head is SO cool and something I know any young kid would be fascinated by.
I’ve also seen plush faux taxidermy bear heads that are adorable too like this one from Amazon.
Bear bedroom decor options like this are nice because it can add some depth and texture to the wall next to 2D wall art like previously listed.
11. Bear Bedding

And last but certainly not least, we can’t forget the bedding. There are so many great bear bedding options out there, but I particularly love this red buffalo plaid set for a kid’s bed.
The massive plush bear on top is a nice touch too!
What I love most about this design style is that it isn’t easily grown out of. I, as a 27 year old adult, still love this style! So hopefully it’s safe to say that your bear bedroom decor will be a good investment for your child’s bedroom no matter what age they’re at.
