Hey there!
My name is Rachel and I’m a 27 year old mom, homeowner, and advocate for simple and slow living. My life’s and subsequently this blog’s pursuit is to romanticize the regular and find magic in life’s mundane moments. I believe seeking gratitude in simplicity is the true key to sustainable happiness!

In the year 2023, my life changed forever. Within the span of 3 months, I bought my first house, moved in to said house, and I became a mom. Though I would recommend to any woman to move during their third trimester (then you have an excuse to make everyone else do the heavy lifting), it came with numerous challenges. The biggest of those challenges being, I now had to fix our fixer upper house while also caring for a newborn. Many sleepless nights led me to parenting books, homeowner’s guides, and Google. I learned so much valuable advice that I knew I needed to bring all that information to a consolidated home.
