If there is a holiday to embrace your cottagecore decor dreams, it’s definitely Easter! Spring is the time to bathe your home in fresh flowers, greenery, and sweet simple things.

2024 is the year of returning to our roots and the simpler pleasures in life. I think collectively, we all are feeling nostalgic for the old days.

This Easter, when you’re with your family and celebrating life and renewal, bring the nostalgia to the table with your cottage tablescape!

When it comes to fun holidays to decorate for, Easter is near the top of the list because of all of the fun and cute themes. From bunnies and chicks to flowers, carrots, and eggs, there are so many fun tropes to play with!

Plus, the pastel colors are so lovely and make for an absolutely beautiful dining table.

All of the classic Easter decor items blend so seamlessly with cottagecore decor that the two are just begging to be used together. After looking through these cottage Easter tablescapes, you will not be lacking in inspiration to bring the spirit of rebirth into your home and on your table!

1. White Woodland Creatures

The most obvious place where cottage decor and Easter decor blend is in woodland animals. Bunnies, chicks, foxes, and all the spring babies are fair game when designing your tablescape.

I’m in love with this white rabbit bust that has been crowned with fresh flowers and greenery. Also, check out the stunning grapevine wreaths on each place setting.

Sitting down at this table for Easter dinner would feel like stepping into a spring wonderland in a cozy English cottage!

2. Blush for Your Bum

One are of tablescape decor that I most often see neglected is on the seating! You don’t see too many tables decorated with throw pillows and blankets, but the beautiful effect is undeniable.

Add some extra coziness and comfort to your cottage Easter tablescapes this year by layering up on soft textiles for your guests to use as they sit.

Not only does it make for a beautiful table, but the extra cushion will allow for time with family around the table to be extended. No sore bums this holiday season!

3. Dainty Daffodils

Yellow is such a refreshing and reviving color and yet it is so often neglected in home decor. I’m a sucker for a good monochromatic look and I encourage you to consider yellow for your table this year.

Paired with the vintage black and white china as well as the multi-colored farm fresh eggs, this daffodil themed tabled makes a stunning statement.

The convenient things about this cottage Easter tablescapes theme is daffodils are often the first to bloom in the spring, so there should be plenty at your disposal outdoors!

4. Classic Country Charm

The colors in this charming table setting are simply to die for. The way the hanging origami eggs, the boiled eggs, and the brick match is so simple yet stimulating.

You can never go wrong with a gingham table cloth when designing a cottagecore tablescape and this dining room is no exception.

Layer on some embroidered cloth napkins, a wicker charger, and a vintage milk jug, and your meal will be exuding classic country charm.

5. Pretty Primitive

If you prefer a simpler, primitive style table, then keep things classic and let a few vintage items and fresh flowers do the talking.

Stunning glassware paired with handmade ceramics is a dynamic duo that creates the perfect primitive feel.

Finish off your cottage Easter tablescapes with simple linen napkins and mindfully placed baskets to create this pretty primitive look.

6. Gorgeous Garden

Bring the cottage garden to your table with this stunning tablescape! I can’t get enough of the details on this table from the mini egg nests to the ceramic mushrooms.

Kill two birds with one stone this spring by using your newly purchased flower starters as decor for your table before you plant!

Don’t be afraid to think outside the box and get creative by using sheets of faux moss as the base for your vignette.

7. Pretty Pink Plaids

Credit: @dining_delight

If you’re like me, then you can’t get enough pink when Spring comes around. Pink instantly lifts my mood the same way the first few warm days of Spring do.

Don’t worry about color coordinating when shopping for your holiday decor this year, just pick your favorite color and run with it!

From the tulips to the chargers, napkins, and tablecloth, this pastel pink themed table will be a standout for your guests this spring.

8. Farmhouse Fun

How sweet and lovely is this farmhoused theme Easter table? This just goes to show that all you need for a great table centerpiece is a couple of vintage ceramic pots and vases.

Everything on this tablescape possesses so much cozy character that when brought together, they create a perfect balance of vintage and modern decor.

Bring the pots and planters from your garden to the table for these cottage Easter tablescapes. Just be sure to wash the bottom first!

9. Rich Rustic Tones

Credit: @iamjhadeeeee

Bring some rustic warmth to your table with these darker rich wood tones and artisinal loaves. Don’t be afraid to embrace darker colors for your rustic cottage decor.

Instead of covering up your dark table with a pastel tablecloth, let the dark wood shine through. Emphasize the natural colors with some rich greenery and brass cutlery.

I love warm color palettes and pairing all shades of brown together. Your family and friends will feel so welcome and comfortable at this warm Easter tablescape.

10. Greenery and Grass

To achieve that classic cottagecore effect, all you have to be concerned with is layering more and more greens and natural elements on your dinner table!

Used potted plants, faux grass, carrots with their stems, and all other kinds of foliage and vegetables from the outdoors to liven your decor.

Nature proves to us that the more shades of green layered on top of each other, the more beautiful the scene will look.

More than ever, small businesses need our support! More than ever, small businesses need our support!

Between tariffs driving up prices for business owners and consumers tightening their wallets more and more every day, it matters now more than ever where we spend our dollar.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely understand the ease and often the affordability of Amazon, but I’ve learned some things in the 5 months I haven’t used Amazon.

1. I never needed 80% of the things I was buying. I fell victim to the “must have” lists and “get it now while it’s on sale” posts ALL. THE. TIME. It was nothing that ever added value to my life.

2. I didn’t even end up liking half the things I bought. Forever my biggest argument for shopping local with clothes and home decor is that you CANNOT know if you like something until you hold it in your hands or try it on your body.

3. I learned to be patient with my purchases. When you’re shopping in person, you have the luxury of walking around the store. You spend time with the item, you consider it next to other items, and you give yourself time to put something back that you maybe didn’t need.

4. I was BURNINGGGG through paychecks from small Amazon orders. My bank account has been THANKING me for the decision to shop small and secondhand.

I have my own feelings about Amazon and its effect on the Earth and on local economies, but I hope that at least one of the reasons above can convince you to decrease your time on Amazon and increase your time in local stores.

I know it can feel overwhelming to make the shift to small and secondhand, but that’s why I started posting content on this page in the first place!

To try and make that transition feel easy and exciting for everyone. So if you’re looking for tips or inspiration, be sure to follow @romanticizingrach!

I’ve found some AWESOMEEE secondhand pieces this weekend that I’ll be sharing in a haul tomorrow. You guys will be GAGGED.

So what do you think? Are you on board?? 😍😍

This Tiffany shade has been sitting in my garage f This Tiffany shade has been sitting in my garage for months because the top busted, but I couldn’t get myself to just toss it 😩

I come across broken Tiffany shades at secondhand stores constantly!! Always for pennies and always beautiful just with some glass missing or a broken piece.

It always hurts my heart to leave them behind, but now I will be grabbing every single one I find 🥲

Just imagine a garden filled with planters like these 😍

In honor of hitting 100K and this awesome @siouxfa In honor of hitting 100K and this awesome @siouxfallsstage issue being published on the same day, I thought I’d take the time to tell you guys more about me!

You all know my name is Rachel and I live in a charming 100 year old little cottage in South Dakota. What you probably don’t know, though, is how we got here or what I’m doing when not at home! Here’s some things to know about me in no particular order 😍

1. I grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis! I love Minnesota with all my heart and am thankful to visit often as most of my immediate family still lives there ☺️

2. I studied musical theatre and dance at the University of South Dakota and have since leaned into a new role as choreographer in the Sioux Falls theatre scene! It has brought me so much joy to stay connected to this part of myself since becoming a mom. Sioux Falls theatre is the best 🫶🏻

3. I’ve lived in multiple states including New York and South Carolina, but have happily settled in South Dakota and I love this state with my whole heart 🦬

4. I started posting consistently last November and never could have guessed what an awesome community would have come from it! I’ve always been passionate about making my home a cozy and inviting space but never thought so many people would relate to my love for shopping small and secondhand 🥹

5. I work part time as a nanny/house manager for a wonderful family. It’s been the biggest blessing of my life to have a job that allows me to have Archer by my side everyday in his formative years. ❤️

I can’t express how grateful I am to have so many of you following along and giving me a place to be creative. Posting on this app has brought me so much happiness and has truly allowed me to find myself again after becoming a mom.

If you want to learn more about Sioux Falls theatre and meet the other amazing artists featured in this issue, make sure to check out the latest issue of @siouxfallsstage ! It’s a huge honor to be included among so many talented artists.

Something has been BUGGINNNGG me about this room f Something has been BUGGINNNGG me about this room for ages 😩

I absolutely adore the paneling in this room, and I think in my efforts to feature the beautiful wood, I tried to go minimal with the decor.

But what I actually needed was something with enough contrast to make the wood really pop!

I’m a sucker for a jute rug and initially thought that’s what I would put in this space. I fell DEEPLY in love with this unique shag from @revival , though, and I’m SO GLAD I decided to trust my gut. It’s the Rojda Shag Rug in 5x8! 😍

It’s the perfect amount of color and texture so the wood paneling gets to truly SHINE.

What do you think? Did I make the right call?? 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
