13 Charming Farmhouse Easter Decor Ideas to Copy This Spring

Let’s look at 13 incredibly sweet and charming Farmhouse Easter decor ideas to get your home ready for this refreshing spring holiday!

I absolutely LOVE decorating for Easter because it’s the time of year where my mood is drastically shifting. We’ve officially made it through the long hard winter months. It’s time to reflect the seasonal shift in our homes!

Often I find I lose my passion and motivation for decorating the home after Christmas. In January and February, I’m merely surviving until the flowers start to bloom again.

Easter always comes at the perfect time! I’m finally over my seasonal lull, I’m ready to decorate the house, and Easter gives me a place to start.

Spring is without a doubt the season of revival so it’s the best time to revive and revamp your home with these farmhouse Easter decor ideas.

I’m a firm believer that before you go to any store or click on to any website to begin shopping for your home, you should have a thorough understanding of the design style you want to achieve.

Knowing this beforehand will save you so much time and money because you have a vision. I want to help you build that vision with these ideas.

So let’s break down the core elements of these farmhouse Easter decor ideas so that no matter what options you find in your local stores, you can achieve the same results.

Farmhouse Easter Decor Ideas Essentials:

Pastel Colors

This is a no brainer, but a good reminder to give yourself before heading to the store. Any hues of pastel colors will look like intentional Easter and spring decor when layered together intentionally.

So even if you aren’t having luck in finding particular Easter themed decor that you like, simplify your search and look for pastel colors that can be paired together.

Farmhouse Style

Farmhouse style can be defined as one of comfort, practicality, and vintage finds.

When shopping you’ll want to look for items that look well loved and used. Things that you would find in your grandparents house that they’ve used over and over for many years.

Look for natural textures and colors. Lots of hints of wood, burlap, and rattan with touches of natural greenery and foliage. It’s always better to shop used or vintage when curating a farmhouse style.

Spring Decor

Spring decor and Easter decor definitely go hand in hand. I’m a firm believer in mixing a bit of both when decorating your house so that some of the decor can stay even when Easter has passed!

That being said, it also can be very challenging to fill an entire house with solely Easter decor as there are way less options in stores than for a holiday like Christmas.

For spring decor, you’ll want to focus on florals, greenery, rustic outdoor items like vintage gardening accessories or lanterns. All the things that will fill your house with life again!

Easter Inspiration

I won’t get too in to detail on this because most everyone knows what to look for, but if you need any added Easter inspiration, look for the following items.

Decor that includes rabbits, carrots, eggs, flowers, crosses, chicks, and lots and lots of candy!

Now that we feel familiar with the essentials for these farmhouse Easter decor ideas, lets dive in to the inspo so you feel excited to start decorating this spring!

1. Easter Eggs

Easter eggs and farmhouse decor are like peanut butter and jelly – they just belong together. I love getting creative with these little symbols of spring.

Stick to natural dyes for a muted palette that whispers Easter in a warm, inviting way. Coffee, onion skins, or even red cabbage can give eggs a vintage flair, perfect for a farmhouse touch.

Scattering them across a rustic dining table works like a charm. Or put them on display in an antique bird’s nest. I tuck them here and there, like little Easter surprises waiting to be discovered amongst my decor.

2. Easter Tablescape

It’s all about mixing rustic charm with a touch of whimsy. For the centerpiece, gather a range of varying height candles nestled amongst wildflowers and greenery to create a casually elegant focal point.

To finish off, little details like mason jars turned into quaint drinking glasses or silverware wrapped in burlap bring in that cozy farmhouse vibe.

Remember, it’s not about perfection – a mix-and-match approach just adds to the charm and keeps the setting feeling authentic and inviting.

3. Tiered Tray

Tiered trays are the secret weapon for any farmhouse decor enthusiast, especially when Easter comes hopping around.

Tuck in a few rustic accents, maybe a tiny potted plant or two, and I always add something with a bit of height like a tall fabric carrot for drama.

It’s all about creating levels and textures, making your eyes dance over each delightful little Easter vignette. And voila, you’ve got a tiered tray that’s a true farmhouse focal point.

4. Fresh Flowers

I cannot emphasize enough the magic that fresh flowers bring to farmhouse Easter decor. They breathe life into any room and create an ambiance of renewal that’s just synonymous with spring.

Use bunches of wildflowers to add a playful touch or opt for classic tulips and daffodils for a more structured look.

Trust me, these blooms are going to be pivotal in pulling together that farmhouse charm we all know and love. The beauty of fresh flowers lies in their simplicity, which aligns perfectly with the laid-back, rustic feel of these farmhouse Easter decor ideas.

5. Front Porch

Source: @the_woodhouse_family

I’m a sucker for a front porch that screams “Welcome home!” especially during Easter. It’s like a sneak peek of the cozy, festive vibe that’s waiting inside.

Think about a welcoming wooden bench adorned with rustic spring decor. I like to add a little Easter twist to mine — maybe with some eggs or a grapevine wreath1.

And don’t forget seasonal foliage. Nothing says farmhouse Easter like a bunch of fresh, blooming tulips or daffodils in a galvanized bucket. Just plop it down by the steps, and boom, you’ve got yourself a porch that’ll make the neighbors slow down for a second look.

6. Place Settings

Setting the table for Easter is like laying out a welcome mat for spring. Keep it cozy with natural textures and a whisper of pastels.

Slip in a personal touch with handmade name cards, resting against a freshly cut bloom. It’s all about creating that warm, gathered-over-time feel, like every piece tells its own story.

Place settings for my farmhouse Easter decor ideas aren’t about perfection; they’re about crafting moments that feel as good as they look. And always, leave room for that extra touch of whimsy – a fabric carrot or a tiny nest cradling a single speckled egg.

7. Easter Basket

Imagine a rustic Easter basket filled with the charm of the countryside.

I find that adding vintage finds, like an old-fashioned tin or a well-loved stuffed bunny, really brings the basket to life. Each piece tells a story and together, they create a beautiful tableau of springtime nostalgia.

Think of it as a collection of treasures that celebrate the season. Your finished Easter basket will be a unique centerpiece, brimming with character.

8. Coffee Table Centerpiece

When spring hops around the corner, I can’t help but think of ways to freshen up the living room, and the coffee table is where I start. With just a few carefully chosen elements, your coffee table can make a big Easter splash.

It’s the little details that whisper Easter is here, trust me. I’ll tuck in a little vintage bunny figurine; it never fails to draw a smile.

It’s simple, not overdone, and you’ve created a farmhouse Easter vignette that’s cozy enough to gather ’round but stylish enough to be the room’s springtime centerpiece.

9. Easter Sign

I just can’t get enough of these farmhouse Easter signs I’ve been spotting! They add such a character to the space.

Place one on your mantel or even lean it against a wall in your entryway – and bam, it’s like an instant holiday upgrade. You know what’s the best part? They’re not your typical store-bought plaques.

We’re talking about signs with phrases that make you smile, all done up in that distressed wood that just screams farmhouse Easter decor ideas. Trust me, your guests will be asking you where you snagged such a unique piece.

10. Grapevine Wreath

I get it, sometimes you want that rustic touch without going full-on barnyard, and that’s where the grapevine wreath steps in.

It’s the quintessential piece for a farmhouse Easter. I like to think of it as the little black dress of decor, it goes with everything.

Honestly, there’s no wrong way to do it. Just have fun, and let that grapevine wreath be your canvas for a charming Easter welcome. It’s really that simple.

11. Easter Chalkboard

Source: How To Nest For Less

I just adore the rustic charm a chalkboard brings to farmhouse Easter decor. Think about it, you can scribble a sweet springtime greeting or a joyful Easter message, filling your home with the spirit of the season.

And let’s not forget the kid in all of us, who could spend hours doodling cute little bunnies or fluffy chicks! What I really love is that you can change it up every few days, keeping your decor fresh and exciting.

Whether it’s hanging by the front door or propped on the mantle, a chalkboard decked out in farmhouse style is like a warm, festive hug for your home.

12. Entryway

I absolutely love the way this entryway is adorned with different textures and tones of green foliage. Especially when contrasted against the white floors and walls.

It would feel like a breath of fresh air walking into this home everyday.

Try thrifting a handful of different wicker and rattan baskets to bring a natural and Earthy touch to these farmhouse Easter decor ideas. Natural materials always layer well!

13. Fireplace Mantel

Source: Lady Decluttered

A fireplace mantel is always going to be one of the best places for decorating in the home. It’s in plain sight all day long and just begging to be beautifully adorned.

Try stacking towers of little terracotta pots like the photo above for a creative and unique farmhouse decor touch.

Add some ceramic rabbit figurines, a rustic sign, and some foliage for the ultimate Easter mantel. Bonus points if you add some freshly-laid eggs!

I would love to hear about how you’re incorporating these farmhouse Easter decor ideas into your home this spring. Tell me all about it in the comments and happy Easter!

More than ever, small businesses need our support! More than ever, small businesses need our support!

Between tariffs driving up prices for business owners and consumers tightening their wallets more and more every day, it matters now more than ever where we spend our dollar.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely understand the ease and often the affordability of Amazon, but I’ve learned some things in the 5 months I haven’t used Amazon.

1. I never needed 80% of the things I was buying. I fell victim to the “must have” lists and “get it now while it’s on sale” posts ALL. THE. TIME. It was nothing that ever added value to my life.

2. I didn’t even end up liking half the things I bought. Forever my biggest argument for shopping local with clothes and home decor is that you CANNOT know if you like something until you hold it in your hands or try it on your body.

3. I learned to be patient with my purchases. When you’re shopping in person, you have the luxury of walking around the store. You spend time with the item, you consider it next to other items, and you give yourself time to put something back that you maybe didn’t need.

4. I was BURNINGGGG through paychecks from small Amazon orders. My bank account has been THANKING me for the decision to shop small and secondhand.

I have my own feelings about Amazon and its effect on the Earth and on local economies, but I hope that at least one of the reasons above can convince you to decrease your time on Amazon and increase your time in local stores.

I know it can feel overwhelming to make the shift to small and secondhand, but that’s why I started posting content on this page in the first place!

To try and make that transition feel easy and exciting for everyone. So if you’re looking for tips or inspiration, be sure to follow @romanticizingrach!

I’ve found some AWESOMEEE secondhand pieces this weekend that I’ll be sharing in a haul tomorrow. You guys will be GAGGED.

So what do you think? Are you on board?? 😍😍

This Tiffany shade has been sitting in my garage f This Tiffany shade has been sitting in my garage for months because the top busted, but I couldn’t get myself to just toss it 😩

I come across broken Tiffany shades at secondhand stores constantly!! Always for pennies and always beautiful just with some glass missing or a broken piece.

It always hurts my heart to leave them behind, but now I will be grabbing every single one I find 🥲

Just imagine a garden filled with planters like these 😍

In honor of hitting 100K and this awesome @siouxfa In honor of hitting 100K and this awesome @siouxfallsstage issue being published on the same day, I thought I’d take the time to tell you guys more about me!

You all know my name is Rachel and I live in a charming 100 year old little cottage in South Dakota. What you probably don’t know, though, is how we got here or what I’m doing when not at home! Here’s some things to know about me in no particular order 😍

1. I grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis! I love Minnesota with all my heart and am thankful to visit often as most of my immediate family still lives there ☺️

2. I studied musical theatre and dance at the University of South Dakota and have since leaned into a new role as choreographer in the Sioux Falls theatre scene! It has brought me so much joy to stay connected to this part of myself since becoming a mom. Sioux Falls theatre is the best 🫶🏻

3. I’ve lived in multiple states including New York and South Carolina, but have happily settled in South Dakota and I love this state with my whole heart 🦬

4. I started posting consistently last November and never could have guessed what an awesome community would have come from it! I’ve always been passionate about making my home a cozy and inviting space but never thought so many people would relate to my love for shopping small and secondhand 🥹

5. I work part time as a nanny/house manager for a wonderful family. It’s been the biggest blessing of my life to have a job that allows me to have Archer by my side everyday in his formative years. ❤️

I can’t express how grateful I am to have so many of you following along and giving me a place to be creative. Posting on this app has brought me so much happiness and has truly allowed me to find myself again after becoming a mom.

If you want to learn more about Sioux Falls theatre and meet the other amazing artists featured in this issue, make sure to check out the latest issue of @siouxfallsstage ! It’s a huge honor to be included among so many talented artists.

Something has been BUGGINNNGG me about this room f Something has been BUGGINNNGG me about this room for ages 😩

I absolutely adore the paneling in this room, and I think in my efforts to feature the beautiful wood, I tried to go minimal with the decor.

But what I actually needed was something with enough contrast to make the wood really pop!

I’m a sucker for a jute rug and initially thought that’s what I would put in this space. I fell DEEPLY in love with this unique shag from @revival , though, and I’m SO GLAD I decided to trust my gut. It’s the Rojda Shag Rug in 5x8! 😍

It’s the perfect amount of color and texture so the wood paneling gets to truly SHINE.

What do you think? Did I make the right call?? 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️
