Starting off strong with a Western decor classic, this wouldn’t be a list of Western Centerpiece ideas without a cow skull.
I love cow skulls for home decor because they are simple in nature, but add a rugged touch to any space.
If you’re wanting more of a sleek look, go for one like the photo above with no horns. If you’d prefer to really make a statement, though, choose one with horns and all!
2. Unique Stacked Antiques

The best way to ensure that your home decor is unique is to shop at antique shops and thrift stores.
You’d be surprised at the beautiful things you can find even at the smallest antique stores! If you live in the city, you may have better luck finding Western decor if you drive closer to the suburbs and country.
I love the beautiful stack this homeowner created using different decorative bases, vases, and potted plants.
3. Ornate Candle Holders
One thing I see people neglect to add to their centerpieces and home decor in general is height! Having various decor in different heights adds immense visual interest to any vignette.
One of the easiest (and most beautiful) ways to accomplish this is with vintage candlestick holders and tapered candles.
Add some Western flare to your coffee table with a pair of ornate candle holders made from natural materials like ceramics.
4. Various Sizes of Antlers

If you’re working with some kind of tray or container for your Western Centerpiece ideas, it can be tough to know how to fill it out.
Using various sizes of antlers is a great way to add some rustic charm and help to make your centerpiece look complete!
Check your local antique shops or even Facebook marketplace for different types of antlers or check out my Amazon link above.

There are different variations of Western decor that are all stunning, but one of my favorites is the Gothic Western style.
This darker sense of style can really elevate a space and make it feel much more grand and put together than your average living room.
For a Gothic Western Centerpiece, the creepier the better! I love this use of a fake human skull as a focal point for your living room coffee table.
6. Small Hide Rug

I love the look of a hide rug for a Western themed living room, but sometimes it’s hard to justify the cost of a full sized rug.
If you want the same feel for your centerpiece without spending the big bucks, opt for a smaller version that you can use as a place mat on your coffee table.
These miniature rugs come in all different shapes, colors, and sizes making them the perfect option to customize your centerpiece to your home decor.
7. Rustic Wooden Trough

A great way to add decor to your living room if you have small kids or large dogs is to use a rustic container or tray to hold your accessories.
This is an easy way to prevent your decor from being knocked over or broken throughout your chaotic days. Plus, it looks amazing!
This wooden trough looking tray adds the perfect Western touch to this coffee table as it’s reminiscent of the feeding troughs you’d find on a ranch.

For plant lovers or anyone looking to add a pop of color to your living room, potted succulents might be the perfect design choice!
They’re easy to care for, fun to watch grow, and come in an assortment of shapes and sizes that are fun to collect and pair next to each other.
Keep it simple like the photo above with a gorgeous Aloe Vera plant, or if you really want something interesting, plant multiple smaller succulents in the same planter to create a unique look.
9. Assorted Western Magazines and Books

One of the easiest Western Centerpiece ideas you can incorporate in to your home today without breaking the bank is Western literature.
Whether it’s vintage books with cowboys on the cover or modern ranching magazines, adding some coffee table books will instantly upgrade the look of your room.
I love an affordable yet beautiful decor idea and this takes the cake in both categories!
10. Cow Figurine Book Ends

I absolutely love the look of a stack of vintage books, but it’s not the most ideal decor for a high traffic area.
UNLESS, you invest in some stylish themed book ends! I love these porcelain cow figurines in the photo above.
Book ends are a dying decor form that I vote to be brought back. They come in so many fun and whimsical styles and make a great conversation piece.
