Toddlers can be surprisingly hard to shop for.

They don’t always show interest in many toys, or they don’t stay invested in them long enough to make them worth the price.

We want to make Christmas exciting for them, but they don’t have many things they want outside of berries and snacks.

However, there are some tried and true gifts that toddlers always seem to love.

This list of Christmas stocking stuffers for toddlers is full of ideas that not only will your toddler enjoy but will be practical for you the parent as well.

Don’t stress over stockings this year, just shop from this list and make things easy for yourself!

Lord knows that you have enough on your plate while raising a toddler.

1. Mini Digital Camera

Starting off strong with this adorable digital camera made specifically for toddlers.

Your little will love going around the house on Christmas morning taking pictures of all their favorite things. Plus, you never know what great memories they may capture!

2. Adventure Magnifying Glasses

In my opinion, the best kind of stocking stuffers are the things they can play with immediately and will hold their attention throughout the day.

That’s why I love interactive toys like these little magnifying glasses! Let your kid adventure all over inside and outside (depending on the weather).

3. Thick Winter Socks

Socks are probably the most common stocking stuffer, but they stay that way for a reason.

These winter colored socks from Amazon come in great colors, plus they’re very thick for the cold months and have non-stick bottoms!

4. Favorite Character Cups

If your toddler has a favorite character from a book or show, then you can’t go wrong getting them something featuring that character.

These Bluey water bottles are the perfect stocking stuffer for a little fan of Bluey!

5. Easy Grip Crayons

I’ve never met a little kid who doesn’t love crayons and coloring, but sometimes the classic skinny crayons are hard for little fingers to grasp.

These peanut crayons have a much more accessible shape for all sizes of little hands.

6. Interactive Bath Toys

Toddlers spend so much time in the bathtub because of all the time they spend getting messy!

Make bathtime one of their favorite times of the day with these adorable wind-up bath toys that will swim right along with your child.

7. Mini Play-Doh

Play-doh is a fabulous toy for toddlers for so many reasons.

It encourages open ended and creative play, plus it really helps to develop their motor skills doing so much work with their hands!

8. Bathtub Paint Sticks

There is no better place to get messy than in the bathtub where the mess can immediately be washed away!

These bathtub paint sticks allow your toddler to paint all over the tub without any stains or tough scrubbing.

9. Custom Toddler Apron

Some of my favorite Christmas memories growing up were making cookies with the whole family.

It’s never too early to start these memories and popping a custom toddler sized apron in their stocking will get them excited to participate!

10. Adorable Winter Hat

I don’t know what it is about toddlers in hats, but it’s probably the cutest thing in the whole world.

Avoid holiday themed gear for your Christmas stocking stuffers for toddlers so they can continue wearing them for the rest of winter.

11. Road Tape

This road tape has changed my life as a mom of a toddler who loves any kind of toy car or truck.

I just love that we can lay it down literally anywhere and he can customize his “race tracks”!

12. Electric Toothbrush

Mine is still a little too young to be brushing his teeth on his own, but I’ve heard a lot of mothers say their toddlers magically started to love brushing teeth once they had an electric toothbrush!

I love stocking stuffers that can make your child’s everyday tasks feel extra special on Christmas.

13. Assorted Digging Tools

Digging tools like these mini shovels and rakes are a year-round toy that you will love having around for your baby.

They’re perfect for snow sensory bins in the winter and obviously great for playing in the dirt outside in the summer.

14. Suction Spinners

These suction spinner toys are some of the most versatile toys I’ve ever gotten for my toddler.

They make great toys for car rides, airplane rides, or even just hanging out around the house windows!

15. At Home Scavenger Hunt Cards

Get your toddler something that will entertain them all day long with this ring of scavenger hunt flash cards.

All the items on the cards are things that can easily be found around the house. They will also help their visual and comprehension skills!

16. Sensory Bracelets

Many toddlers may be a little too small for actual jewelry or watches, but these sensory bracelets are perfect!

They make great on the go teethers for any children that need something to put in their mouth at all times.

17. Chocolate Santas

Some parents are against putting candy or sugar in their Christmas stockings, but I am not that mom!

I think a little sugar is warranted on Christmas morning and these chocolate Santas are a classic.

18. Holiday Themed Pez

There were few things I loved finding in my stocking growing up more than Christmas themed Pez.

Now that I’m older, it doesn’t seem all the special, but something about the mechanical candy retrieval element made Pez so fun as a kid.

19. Christmas Window Gels

Kill two birds with one stone this holiday season by making stocking stuffer gifts out of home decor items!

These window clings will provide endless fun for toddlers while also making your home feel more festive than ever.

20. Winter Themed Jammies

I mentioned it earlier in this list, but when purchasing clothing item for stocking stuffers, it may be tempting to buy holiday themed items, but you should resist!

Buying winter themed items is best because they’ll be able to enjoy it for the months following the holidays as well.

21. Fisher-Price Little People

I don’t know what it is about these Fisher-Price Little People toys, but every toddler I’ve ever met can’t get enough.

They collect these like little trophies! They come in all kinds of characters so you can get whatever ones they love most.

22. Mini Christmas Books

You can never have enough books for your kids and especially board books!

I probably enjoy it more than my toddler does, but I absolutely love reading seasonal books around different holidays to make the season feel special.

23. Small Stuffies

Jelly Cats are all the rage in children’s stuffies right now and they make perfect stocking stuffers!

There are all kind of different holiday themed ones you can collect year after year to create an adorable collection.

24. Construction Truck Utensils

I mean are these not the cutest things you’ve ever seen in your life?

My toddler loves regular utensils, and I can’t even imagine how excited these would make him. Anything to help toddlers eat the food we make them!

25. Christmas Stickers

Every toddler has a sticker phase and these make-a-face sticker sheets are seriously adorable.

These are guaranteed to keep your toddler entertained while you’re finishing up making Christmas dinner!

26. Dino Egg Bath Bombs

These are so cute that I would have no shame in buying them for myself.

Snag a box of these for the most adorable Christmas stocking stuffers for toddlers!

27. Favorite Character Christmas Ornaments

Is everyone else’s toddler as obsessed with Bluey as mine?

I love the idea of putting an ornament in your child’s stocking every year that they can meticulously place on the tree wherever they’d like it featured.

28. Fuzzy Lined Crocs

If you ask me, crocs are the absolute best and most versatile toddler shoe.

Only problem with the classic croc is its lack of warmth for the colder months. In swoops the fur line croc!

29. Winter Jibbetz

No croc shall go un-jibbet-ed!

Buy a pack of cute winter themed jibbetz to go along with the new pair of crocs for the ultimate stocking combo.

30. Christmas Band-Aids

Who knows why toddlers love band-aids so much, but instead of fighting it this Christmas, embrace it!

Because what toddler doesn’t dream of a box of band-aids that they can get into and stick wherever their little heart desires with no reprimand?

No tearing things out, no kitchen renovation budge No tearing things out, no kitchen renovation budget, no new appliances, no stripping the character, and NO AMAZON!

In 2025, I went a whole year without making a single purchase from Amazon to see if I could create my dream home without it. What I learned was, Amazon is actually the problem 🤣

Everyone says homes are losing character and interior design is starting to all look the same. It’s because we’re all buying the same 50 different pieces of decor from Amazon and those pieces on Amazon are just copying the other 50 pieces of decor from Target 🤣

The unsung heroes of a home filled with character and coziness are the antique stores and secondhand shops down the road from you. You don’t need a crazy budget or the next trending influencer piece, you need to spend a little time digging through thrift stores and scrolling through Facebook marketplace.

Let my home be the proof that shopping secondhand is the better way!

Also peep how the previous owners had the coolest things too 😩😩
